If the team has never completed and released a game before, it's likely that they never will. You might only be able to get the dreaded "revenue share" for a game that will never be finished, so be careful who you attach yourself to. The best thing to do is to find small developers that are just starting their game. Unless you're incredibly skilled at one style of music and you come across a game early in it's development that needs exactly that type of music, you're going to have to be able to write in every style and have a portfolio that demonstrates that. You'd have to create a lot of music, get to know a lot of people, and work your way in from nothing. ![]() Most of those people are crap though, so if you're any good, you've got a reasonable chance. The barrier to entry is very low, so there are a lot of people trying to get into it. These days, the amount of competition is ridiculous. I don't say that to put anyone off, but because it's the truth. ![]() The path to that would be one awash with hard work and disappointment. ![]()
